As of 04/16/2024, Boating is open. they have started draining creek due to overflow so the nets are out by the dam. Fishing has been extremely slow. Walleye action is picking up they started to spawn. look for them in shallow water. or drop offs heading into the shallows. A few good reports using bottom bounces, blade baits and jigs with crawlers in 15-20 ft of water. shore fishing has produced some fish using powerbait and throwing castmasters with a very slow retrieve. using night crawlers on the bottom has also produced trout. Bass fishing has been slow with very little results. Remember the temperature of the water is extremely cold and the fish are sluggish. fish slow and deliberate.
