The water level is low bu anglers are getting nice fish. Water temperatures are cooling down and there are multiple size classes of rainbow, cutthroat, tiger and brown trout. Fish over 20 inches have been caught. Fish in this water consume mostly midge larvae, leeches, damselfly larvae, sow bugs, scuds and redside shiners. Try imitating those food sources for the best fishing results. This reservoir has special catch-and-release regulations. You must use flies and lures only bait is not allowed.
