The bass bite has been phenomenal with a number of 2 to 3 pound fish being caught. Deep-diving crank baits and big jigs have been the key. The bass are holding along the main points and or submerged rock piles in the lowered lake. Lake is held at 9%.

Lake water has been dropping fast. Most of the bass are suspended till the stops. But the blugill bite is strong on minnows and crickets for nice slabs. In just a few weeks of a full lake and now down to 18% is unbelievable.
