Juniata River at Mapleton Depot water flow is currently at 714 cubic feet per second. There are still plenty of decent smallmouth being caught on soft plastics (Ned rigs, drop-shot rigs, wacky rigs), and topwater action will produce some nice fish in the afternoon. Whopper Plopper 90's and 1/4oz black Jitterbugs are great choices. Walleye can be caught at night fishing jerkbaits and crankbaits. Other areas to focus on would be Lewistown, Newton-Hamilton, and Mount Union.
