Largemouth bass fishing is picking up with the best bite in the south Delta. Targeting east/west sloughs with sun exposure are the best option, and while finesse techniques are working, there are windows for a reaction bite. The bass action will only improve as we move toward the second wave of the spawn with the coming full moon. The bass can be found everywhere from beds to island points and grass line drop offs. There are still striper in the system but can been challenge to find. One must cover a lot of water trying to find them. But once they are found the action is red hot!
