As Spring approach's be very aware of ice conditions. Once ice starts to turn black and wet it is very unsafe for travel no matter how thick it is. Use extreme caution and watch out for springs and overflow. Once the Ice starts receding from shore trout fishing can be fantastic! fish small nymphs, jigs and spinners close to the ice shelf for some hot action. Rainbow trout are the target at this lake and range medium to large in size. Small jigs, spinners or spoons in gold, white, glo, or chartreuse can also work well.

Directions: Mile 41.7 Parks Hwy. Right on Crusey St. 0.5 mile to Bogard Road. Right on bogard Rd. 4.5 miles to West Cottonwood Dr. Right on West Cottonwood Dr. 1.0 mile to Spruce drive. Right on Spruce Dr. 0.2 mile to public access with undevelped boat launch. NOTE: Limited public access.
