Sturgeon has been steadily gaining traction this season, more people in buying rods and gear. Springer season is set to start in April so if you need your salmonid fix it is right around the corner make sure you stock up on gear. The ponds have been getting stocked with trout so hopefully you can find some good opportunities. Stocked fish respond really well to power bait, my go to is the rainbow garlic if that is what the situation calls for. Red wrigglers and other worms work great as well. Make sure you check the stock reports and regulations in case of any rule changes. Don't be afraid to ask a fishing associate if you have any questions.
